To install the Windows Desktop Update

1. On the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3. Click Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, and then click Add/Remove.
4. Click Add Windows Desktop Update from Web site.

If you do not see this option, then the Windows Desktop Update is already installed.

Note

• If you decide later that you do not want to use this feature, you can follow the same steps to remove it.
